Michael Wainer is an Americal guitar player. Currently Michael Wainer and his group, 13, are signed to LL Cool J's new production label and will be releasing a full length album this year along with an international tour. Wainer was dubbed "Animal" by school friends due to his long, shaggy hair not unlike Animal from the Muppets (he has since shaved his head but kept the name). He is known for his epic hip-hop beats and vast musical talent including guitar, piano, percussion, vocals, bass guitar, synths and drums. "Animal" has been a student of music for 20 years (since he was 5) and has been said, by the Village Voice, to be "one of the best guitar players this city has seen in a long time" Wainer resides in Bayside, NY. |
