Metaledge Records is a American record label owned and operated by Metaledge Entertainment Group, LLC and distributed worldwide through The Orchard. Label history Metaledge Records was founded by Chris Cambra, in December 1994 as a local label to handle bands within the founder's hometown. Eventually in 1999, the label expanded into the national spotlight with the signing of Boston band Scylus Creed. The label moved to offices in Boston, MA in 2000. In 2003, the label signed British NWOBHM band Lionsheart and released their 2004 album Abyss. The label expanded further and moved into offices on Park Avenue in New York City In 2007, the label moved once again to Dallas, TX when it was made a division of its parent company Metaledge Entertainment Group, LLC.
