The Merriam Aquatic Center is a municipal pool located at 6040 Slater in Merriam, Kansas, a suburb of Kansas City. The modern Merriam Aquatic Center was constructed in 1985 with the construction of a 50 meter pool and addition of two 1 meter spring boards and one 3 meter springboard. The pool received a major renovation in 1999 with addition of a zero depth baby pool and the addition of open and covered water slides. The pool also received minor renovations to the pool deck in 2007
The pool is the home of the Merriam Dolphins, a swim and dive club in the Johnson County Swim and Dive league. The pool is also hosting the 2007 Johnson County all city dive meet in July of 2007.
