Mendo Mulcher is a brand of herb grinder manufactured in Mendocino County, California. The design itself was based on previous four stage herbal grinders with a micron screen and pollen catcher. Previously herbal grinders used wooden and metal pegs for shredding herbs, coffee, and pills. With advanced CNC manufacturing techniques, it is easy to accurately calculate the precise cuts. Each tooth of the grinder is made to slice on both sides and has curved sides to reduce the buildup of resin and pollens, which fall through the micron screen to collect on the last plate. Mendos are a favorite among cannabis smokers, as they easily collect potent THC crystals or "kief". It is fitting, as Mendocino County is the first county in the United States to decriminalize the possession of small amounts of cannabis by passing Measure G.
