Golden Tutoring is a private tutoring company run by CEO Jeffery Golden, formerly based in Cambridge, Massachusetts, but offering services throughout the continental United States. It is one of many private tutoring companies which offers tutoring opportunities to recent college graduates.
There are claims by former tutors and students that this company is a fraudulent business; that they either did not receive paid-for services, or the payment from their pre-arranged contracts.
Many of these claims are a result of "pre-payment" contracts. There is at least one small claims court case involving Jeff Golden because he did not pay the salary of a previous employee. Victims of
this company in Massachusetts may file a complaint with the Massachusetts Attorney general. There are claims that there should be government regulations on tutoring company quality standards
