Tooele Federal Credit Union

Tooele Federal Credit Union is a financial institution based in Tooele City, Tooele County, State of Utah, United States of America.

It was established in 1948 as the Benecia Arsenal Federal Credit Union at the Benecia (US Army) Arsenal in California. By the end of 1961, there were 350 members (who were also considered owners, as it was a member-owned association). Four people were employed by the organization during 1961. Its name changed to Tooele Army Depot Federal Credit Union in August 1962; at that time, it consisted of one branch. In 1971, its name changed again, to Tooele Federal Credit Union, and it had three branches.

By 2007, it had five branches: in Tooele City, in north Tooele City, in Stansbury Park, in Grantsville (all in Tooele County), and also in South Jordan (in Salt Lake County). It has Automatic Teller Machines at all its branches and also at Dugway Federal Credit Union.

It has joined forces with several other Utah-based credit unions to establish service centers in West Valley, West Jordan, Cottonwood, Delta Employees Credit Union, Sandy, Western FCU, and Deseret First Credit Union.
