Maxie Kunie Esho (born February 28, 1991) is an American professional basketball player for the Iowa Energy of the NBA Development League. He played college basketball for the University of Massachusetts. High school career Esho attended Dr. Henry A. Wise, Jr. High School where he averaged 14 points and seven rebounds per game before moving to Lee Academy. College career Esho attended UMass for four years. He finished his career with 1,019 points (t-44th at UMass), 132 games played (5th) and a 50.2 FG percentage (12th) while having 40 double-figure scoring games, seven double-figure rebounding games and three double-doubles. However, he was later waived by the Knicks on November 11 prior to the start of the regular season. On December 11, he was acquired by the Iowa Energy, making his debut that same night on a 107-110 loss against the Canton Charge. Personal life The son of Tina Marie Esho, he has five siblings: Tony, Kenny, Taye, Florence and Larry. Esho earned a Bachelor's Degree in Sociology.<ref name="bio" />
