Marv Merchants is a character that appears in 3 of the Home Alone series of movies, (Home Alone, Home Alone 2, and Home Alone 4). He is played by Daniel Stern in the first and second films and French Stewart in the fourth film. As a Wet Bandit From Home Alone, As a wet bandit, Marv was a person who stole stereo systems and tweeters from all the houses he and his accomplice Harry went to and Harry stole most of other expensive merchandise.He and Harry were arrested by the cops for theft from premises. As a sticky bandit Thus described from Home Alone 2, Marv and his accomplice Harry spent a year in prison. They escaped, and headed for New York. Marv changed their code name to STICKY BANDITS. He invented a sticky glove, so that whatever he touched, got stuck to the glove. He and Harry plotted to burglarize a toy store called Duncan's Toy Chest. But Kevin was alone in New York. They attempted to capture him, but he got away. They went back to their own business, and one night, they were burglarizing the toy store. But Kevin came, snapped a picture of them, and started the burglar alarm. Marv and his accomplice chased after him towards a big house. Marv got hit by bricks, shot at from a staple gun and suffered more and more Traps that Kevin laid out. Marv and Harry got arrested by the police. Their plans were foiled once again because of a ten-year old. As a Married Grump See Marv and Vera (story takes place in Home Alone 4)
