Mark MacDonald

Mark MacDonald is an American professional basketball from Lexington, Massachusetts. MacDonald, a 6'9" Center/fForward, played the 2010/2011 season in Recklinghausen, Germany earning a starting role for McSolar CityBasket in the 1st Regionaliga.
MacDonald played 4 years of Division One college basketball for the Brown Bears in the Ivy League. He was named Captain of the Bears under Coach Craig Robinson in 2008. 19. Under Robinson's guidance, the Bears set the school record for wins with 19 and finished second in the Ivy League.
Prior to Brown, MacDonald graduated Lexington High School where he lettered in basketball (4) and baseball (1). He was a three-time Middlesex League All-Star, a two-year team captain, two-time Boston Globe and Boston Herald All-Scholastic selection. MacDonald won Middlesex League scoring titles as a junior and senior with averages of 23.4 ppg, and 24.5 ppg and named Outstanding Male Athlete at Lexington, McDonald's All-American nominee and was Co-MVP of the Middlesex League in 2004. He also earned the Massachusetts House of Representatives Award and the Junior Class Award for overall excellence in character, scholarship, athletics and service to others.
