Marina Martin is an American entrepreneur and innovator. She was selected as part of the inaugural class of Presidential Innovation Fellows and currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Entrepreneurial career Marina founded The Type-A Way which was business efficiency consultancy. She also served on the City of Seattle Citizens’ Telecommunications and Technology Advisory Board. Public Service Marina started her public service as the Entrepreneur-in-Residence at the U.S. Department of Education before becoming Senior Advisor to US CTO Todd Park. Marina worked on the OpenData project as a Presidential Innovation Fellow. She was announced as the VA's CTO in July 2013. She was recognized as a 2013 FedScoop 50 awardee for her Federal Leadership.
