Glorimar Ripoll

Glorimar Ripoll , M.Eng (born July 7, 1979 in San Juan, Puerto Rico) is a full-time mom, political advisor to the Puerto Rican pro-no change party, and an entrepreneur in toys and technology. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) in Business, as well as Economics. She also earned a Masters of Engineering in Civil Engineering with a focus on Information Systems. Attended and graduated from high school in Puerto Rico, specifically, from Colegio Puertorriqueño de Niñas in Guaynabo.
Academics
Born in 1979, she is the first daugher of former head of Commercial Lending at Banco Popoular Miguel Ripoll and his wife Glorin. She was the first Puerto Rican from CPN ever to be selected to attend MIT.
As a college student she served as president of the Association of Puerto Rican Students at MIT and was the winner of the Dean’s Office award for outstanding leadership and community service. Additionally, she was the recipient of the office of minority “academic excellence” award.
As a college student, she traveled to her native Puerto Rico to help in the research needed to develop the Tren Urbano project, considered the most ambitious light rail mass transit system ever built in a U.S. jurisdiction.
