March to Highfivetown is a game played with a frisbee. Created in Fort Collins, Colorado in March of 2009. Rules Players This game must be played with atleast 3 people. Not recommended for more than 6. Set-Up The players must arranged themselves in an approximate regular polygon with the number of sides as number of players. Then a player throws the frisbee as far he/she can catch in the general direction of the player clock-wise to the thrower. The person who the frisbess was thrown at then goes to where the frisbee landed and throws towards the player clock-wise of them. This repeats until the frisbee has made a full circle. Objective The objective of the game is to get all the players close enough that they can high five the player to the left and right of them, this is called "Highfivetown". In-Game Rules Each player throws the frisbee at the player clockwise of them. The player who the frisbee is thrown at must try to catch the frisbee. If the frisbee is caught, the player take one step in any direction from the point where the frisbee was caught. If the player does not catch the frisbee, he/she must go to spot where the frisbee landed if that spot is farther from both of the players on their right or left. The player who is recieving the frisbee can not leave their spot until the frisbee has left the person throwing's hand. Penalties There are no penalties in this game. It is a matter of trust between players. March To Highfivetown League MTFL The MTFL also started in March of 2009. It is a league dedicated to fun and growing sport of March To Highfivetown. The league is currently headed by a triumverate consisting of Derek Barisas, Victor Buck and August Wagner. The MTFL is based in Fort Collins.
