The Bottle Flipping game is a game where the object is to flip a bottle, and land it on a table. You can land it on the cap or the bottom. its both fun, and environmental! There really is no rules to the game, but the most important one is that the bottle actually lands flat (not sideways). Punishment for screwing up is a bottle to the pinky. It might sound funny, but really really hurts. This game is not made up, and is as real as the Game, which you just lost. =THE BOTTLE FLIPPING GAME!!= Requirements # Have more than 4 freinds who want to play # A bottle of water with a flat bottom (coke, gatorade, dasani, pepsi, and any other bottles with a not flat bottom wont work because it will not land right.)that is about 1/4 of the way full (it is hard to say how much water should actually be in the bottle, but if you can do a regular flip and it lands perfectly a few times you should be good.) # A flat surface (a table works best) How to Play You play by getting some freinds, a bottle, and you flip it. Simple as that. The game is best played in a circle so you have a set order of who goes when rather than who gets it first. Then you flip it. You can flip it reguarly (a complete 360 spin in a forward motion), or do a trick shot (somtething else, see Trick Shot). If you land it perfectly, the person to your left goes, and they have three tries to land you flip/trick. If they land it in under three tries, the next person in line must go. If they fail all three times then they get the bottle dropped on their pinky finger (see Punishments for height requirements). Some players have made rules limiting the trick to go around the circle a certain amount of time as to save the lives of their pinkeys. (See Punishments) What is a Trick Shot? A trick shot is a shot that is not a regular shot. There is the Double (it goes around two times instead of one), the half-flip (landing it on the cap. its hard to explain in words, but if you see it you will know), the muscle hamster (instead of holding it with your hand, you grasp the bottle with the palm of your hand, then flip. NO FINGER CONTACT IS ALLOWED), the helix (a flip with a twist, literally), and many others. Trick shots are as hard as you make them, and when you do it is really cool. The coolest trick so far has been a regular flip landing on the cap. it was epic. Two Bottles? yes you can do tricks with two bottles at a time. It simply adds to the excitement, and the awesomeness. Sidenote: TRICK SHOTS RECEIVE A DIFFERENT AMOUNT OF PUNISHMENT!! (See Punishments for more.) Punishments Regular flip (one bottle) = 1 punishment per person Trick shot (one bottle) = 2 punishments per person Regular flip (two bottles) = 2 punishments per person (1 per each bottle bottle used) Trick Shot (two bottles) = 4 punishments per person (2 per each bottle bottle used) A punishment by nature is dropping the bottle on someones pinky. it hurts alot, but is fun to watch. However there is a height requirement. The average allowed height is about 2/3 of a pinky (tip of the nail to the second line (look at your pinky and you will see what i mean). Streaks The worst part of this game is a Streak A Streak is when the flip/trick goes around the circle a couple times. This is bad because once a trick has been acomplished, the only way to stop it, is for someone to be punished. There is a rule for this to by the way. The longest streak alowed is 4 (everybody klands the trick 4 times). This rule is put into play because some poor soul once got 30 (6 people were playing, and it went around 5 times) For example, Lets say there are 6 people playing. and a regular flip is landed. Everybody lands it, and on the third person on the second streak, somebody screws up. That person must take 8 punishments, and there is no way of getting out of it. The only people allowed to punish the person are people who actually landed it. So the people with two would be the first and second person in line, and the people with one would be everyone else, including the failee (yes you have to punish yourself). The same goes for trick shots, and if a trick shot was landed instead of a regular flip in the above scenario, the punishment is doubled (instead of 8, it is 16) Final Notes This game is not widley played, and is considered by some to be stupid, or loud, or annoying. All this aside, it is truley a fun game to play, and the few who play love the game dearly.
