Presently working with Hamar TV as Sr. Anchor and Editor (Content) which, of course, are my forte. He has also worked in UK and Africa for the promotion of Bhojpuri. His contributions were extensively acknowledged and my interviews were broadcast on BBC London apart from All India Radio and Doordarshan. Several top news papers back home also covered it. Over the last 15 years of his association with the bhojpuri media, He has worked as Lyricist, Script Writer and Editor. film Critic, Anchor, Stage coordinator, Theatre Artist, Actor and Bhojpuri Researcher.
Manoj Bhawuk is shining star on the horizon of Bhojpuri literature and is very popular among young generation for his romantic bhpjpuri poetry, his scintillating acting prowess and his untiring strive towards creativity. He can always be noticed deeply involved and devoted towards development of Bhojpuri cinema, literature, Theatre either through personal interactions or through internet.Born in 1976 in Siwan district of Bihar, Bhawuk got associated with Bihar Art Theatre, Patna during his student days and also participated there in All India Radio & Doordarshan, Tv programmes. He was instrumental in the making of many Bhojpuri tele-serials like “Tahre se ghar basaib” where he wrote the whole story, script & dialogues and lyrics & in “Zinagi ke rah” he provided the lyrics. Apart from writing, he also got involved in acting and was awarded “The Best Actor Award” in his acting diploma course and received “Bihar Kalashree Award” for his special contribution in field of acting.
The remarkable things done by Bhawuk and which is a milestone in the history of world of Bhojpuri Arts and Theatres is his commendable article on the scope and future Bhojpuri drama “Bhojpuri Natak ke Sansar” This article is still making waves in many Bhojpuri magazines. Bhawuk is consistently contributing since then to many world famous Bhojpuri Magazines active in field of theatres and drama such as “Vibhor” and “Bhojpuri Academy Magazine”. He has written lots story on Cinema of Bihar.
The most commendable work for which Bhawuk needs to be awarded or honoured is his detailed essay and writings on “History of Bhojpuri Cinema “ and his untiring effort of popularising Bhojpuri in India and abroad. It is worth mentioning here that it is Bhawuk who has played a significant role in revival and resurgence of Bhojpuri Cinemas in the current decade through his various presentations, writings and participation in the meetings and get together of Bhojpuri film producers. He has been constantly interacting with film personalities like Bhojpuri film producers, Ashok Chand Jain, Mohanji Prasad, Sujit kumar, Rakesh Pandey, Kunal Singh, Manoj Tiwari and Ravi kishan etc and made them aware of the “Great Potential of Bhojpuri Cinema” long ago and much before the current boom of Bhojpuri Films.
The current research work of Bhawuk “Bhojpuri Cinema ke Vikas Yatra” is story of Journey of Bhojpuri Film. It contains inside story and whole gamut of film making of more than 250 Bhojpuri films, dozens of teleserials and telefilms. This is a rare work and is simply superb and unparallel in the history of Bhojpuri writing. This stupendous work of Bhawuk is a treasure and his wok will always be lighthouse for all of us who want to know the history of Bhojpuri film making.
Very recently on 15th Sept 2006 Bhawuk was honoured by Bharatiya Bhasha Parishad, Kolkata for his literary work, a collection of Bhojpuri gazal “Tasveer Zindagi ke” and for his contributions in development of Bhojpuri Literature and Indian Literature as well.
Manoj Bhawuk is an engineer by profession and before his current posting at London, he worked in Uganda as plant engineer. He has been very active at both the places and has been constantly organising and participating in Bhojpuri recitations. He is one of the key members in popularising Bhojpuri Language on the net and is working is UK Moderator of Global Bhojpuri Group on the net. He has also been appointed as Chief Editor of BhojPATRA - Devnagri - A Bhojpuri Web Magazine and a not for profit initiative launched by Bhojpuri Sansar - A Global group of Bhojpuri Professionals.

It was given for the promotion of Bhojpuri literature. 9- Honoured with Bhikhari Thakur Samman 2011 in Bhikhari Thakur Festival held at Kolkatta. 10- Awarded by Dr. Kedarnath Nath Singh at Kavi Sammelan organized by Narayani Sahitya Academy 11- Honored by dozens of literary associations and cultural organizations such as Bhojpuri Samaj Sewa Samiti (Varanasi), Maa Kali Bakhorapur Trust (Arah), Jeevandeep Charitable Trust (Varanasi), Akhil Vishwa Bhojpuri Samaj Manch (Arrah) and Astha (Jamsehdpur) etc. 12. Personal Interests Bhawuk is also associated with Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) as a course writer. Ø Have written the story, script, dialogues and lyrics for the famous Bhojpuri serial ‘Tahre Se Ghar Basaib’ aired on Patna Doordarshan in 1999. Ø Performed in the first Bhojpuri serial ‘Sanchi Piritiya’ aired on Patna Doordarshan in 1998. Ø Bhawuk was lyricist of the Music Albums sung by Bharat Sharma Vyas and produced by T-series.
Drama, Acting and Direction Ø Haathi Ke Daant,Master Ganesi Ram, Sona ,Birju Ke Biyah, Bhai Ke Dhan ,Sarag Narak, Zanjeer, Kalakaar, PhoolSunghi ,Bakra Kiston Ka, Istifa, Khyati, Kafan,Mol Mudra Ka, Dharm Sangam, Baba Ki Sarangi, Hum Jeena Chahte Hain, Noori Ka Kehna Hain etc. Ø Drama-Transformation and Direction of Foolsunghi, a well known bhojpuri novel based on life and works of singer Pt. Ø Bhawuk had begun anchoring Bhojpuri programmes at Patna Doordarshan which was based on interviews of famous Bhojpuri personalities.
Stage and Live shows Ø Bhawuk anchored the recently concluded Vishwa Bhojpuri Sammelan at Hrishikesh in Uttarakhand. Earlier I did the same in 2007 in BHU. Ø Anchored and worked as Host at Bhikari Thakur Festival 2011 held at Kalamandir Auditorium, Kolkatta. Ø Anchored Seminar on Bhojpuri Cinema held on the occaion of 50 years of Bhojpuri Cinema by FMCCA at Patna.. Ø Anchored and Hosted at Jamshedpur for Food and Folk Festival organized by AASTHA.. Honorable President of Mauritius Anirudhdha Jagannath was the chief guest over there. Ø Anchored Bhojpuri Film Samaroh at Fifth Vishwa Bhojpuri Sammelan in New Delhi. Chief Guest was famous playback singer Udit Narayan and Actor Kunal Singh.
Other creative activities Ø Represented India in ‘50 days Bharat Bhojpuri Yatra’ jointly organized by Indian Diaspora Centre Mauritius and Vishwa Bhojpuri Sammelan, Delhi. Ø Regularly write for several Bhojpuri Publications including national and international journals.
