Maggie Forrester is a fictional character played on The Bold and the Beautiful by actress Barbara Crampton, who has also portrayed Leanna Love on The Young and the Restless. Character biography Maggie comes into the story as a sister-in-law to Eric Forrester (John McCook). Maggie's storyline commences when she comes to town to visit her daughter Jessica who was Eric's niece. While she is there Maggie meets Dylan Shaw and they fall in love. What Maggie does not realise is that her daughter was once in a relationship with Dylan, who has never stopped loving him. The pot is stirred further since Dylan is equally unaware that Maggie is the mother of Jessica; the girl he was formerly involved with. When the truth is eventually revealed, the truth bears much pain for Maggie. She makes the sensible decision that she and Dylan must part ways. However, Maggie's peaceful yet undesirable situation doesn't last long as further drama ensued to cause her much greater problems. One of Maggie's first friends upon starting in the show is Sheila Carter (Kimberlin Brown). After the debacle with the ex-boyfriend of her daughter, she learns that Sheila had been in love with Eric. To try and get him for herself, Sheila poisoned Eric's wife, Stephanie Forrester (Susan Flannery), which caused Maggie to blame Sheila and yell at her for her Sheila's actions. Sheila and Maggie begin a string of physical fights. In their first fight, which Maggie wins, the two scuffle and Sheila falls down on a fire poker. The next time that causes Maggie and Sheila fight, its over a man, Dr. James Warwick (Ian Buchanan) whom they are both in love with. Sheila gets the upper hand by kidnapping Maggie and holding her hostage. When Sheila finally lets her go and Maggie has recovered from the ordeal, Maggie seeks retribution on Sheila by cutting off her oxygen tank when Sheila is in the hospital. However as Sheila always does, she recovers and seeks out Maggie, in order to get Maggie arrested for attempted murder. Soon Maggie learns that Sheila was known for displaying the same kind of psychotic behavior with another person, Lauren Fenmore (Tracey E. Bregman). Maggie and Lauren meet and begin plotting together to get back at Sheila. Through all of this Sheila stays focused and is still able to seal her relationship with James and they have a child, which drives Maggie to the edge and again she gives up on love and finally leaves town.
