Marlowe was then relocated to Arlington, Virginia for two years to work in MCI’s International Sales & Service Center. There Marlowe managed bi-lingual divisions of the company and set several MCI divisional sale records. Marlowe consistently performed in the top 1%, and as Sales Manager had responsibility for over 200 Agents and Supervisors. His success was recognized by MCI executives in 1999 and 2000 with the MCI Mass Markets division “Best of the Best” and “MVP” awards. Anthony returned to Iowa in 2000 as a sales manager at the MCI Iowa City facility where he had first begun his career and was eventually reunited with his friend and future business partner John Burchert. In 2001 Marlowe was named to MCI's Hall of Fame for management and sales performance. Marlowe was the youngest sales manager to ever win the award, at the age of 22. In January 2002 when MCI WorldCom was going into bankruptcy Anthony left MCI to serve in a senior sales role with an international business consulting firm, theMay International Company, a Chicago based management consulting firm, from January to May of 2002. Prior to starting what would eventually become TMone, Anthony served as the Vice President of Business Development at Infinity Investments from June 2002 to February 2003, where he brought on several large accounts, assisting the company in achieve profitability ahead of forecast. TMone In 2003 Marlowe and his long time friend COO John Burchert started TMone operations, a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) firm focused on Outsourced telesales new customer acquisition. TMone quickly gained a reputation for delivering predictable and financially accountable results. In 2004 it became evident to Marlowe and his partners that in order to grow the company would need to expand and specialize. Shifting the company to service new telecom technologies on the rise, the company focused its efforts on supporting emerging technologies with telesales and other integrated marketing services. It was at this point TMone pioneered Business to Consumer and Business to Business direct response marketing on behalf of the most notable emerging technology providers in the industry. TMone essentially matured concurrently with the technology as it moved from early adopters to mass markets. As the company grew, natural synergies developed between direct marketing efforts and database marketing, prompting TMone to establish a division dedicated to aggregating databases for their own clients’ marketing efforts as well as for resale following the list brokerage business model. In early 2006, Marlowe led TMone’s take-over of MCI's former facility in Iowa City, Iowa, a 27,000 square foot, 300-seat contact center. The next expansion Marlowe initiated was the opening of a new contact center in Des Moines, Iowa in 2009.
