Caliber Point is an Indian outsourcing company.
History
It started off as the BPO division of Hexaware Technologies. It was incorporated as an independent wholly owned subsidiary of Hexaware Technologies in August 2004. The primary focus of the company was to service healthcare companies in the US and offer HR Outsourcing solutions. Its "core competencies" are in areas like Transaction Processing, Process Consulting, Transition Management, Shared Services Center Setup/Management, Document Management, Enterprise Data Management and Contact Center Management.
* In August 2004, Caliber Point launched as independent BPO arm of Hexaware Technologies Ltd and set up - Corporate office & Delivery centre in Mumbai.
* In 2007, Second delivery centre in Chennai was formed.
* In 2008 : partnership with Oracle under the 'BPO Powered by Oracle' model and also formed third delivery centre in Nagpur (MIHAN SEZ) with capacity of 2500 seats.
* In 2009, R U Srinivas takes over as the CEO.
Current
In January 2009, R U Srinivas took over as the CEO of Caliber Point. RU has been the COO of the company since 2006. Recently, he has been given the additional responsibility of an Executive Director. Prior to Caliber Point, RU set-up and ran the Global HR Shared Services Center at Scope International, servicing Standard Chartered Bank’s HR function in 56 countries, the global benchmark till date. Among his other successes is his role as part of the initial team that pioneered the development of the eSCM model with Carnegie Mellon University.
The company has renewed its focus and recently launched its Analytics practice as a separate service line. Caliber Point has also been developing its consulting capabilities and already offers proprietary services in areas like Organization Change and Risk Management, Process Optimization, Process Documentation etc.
In 2011, it launched its new Brand Identity.
In 2012, they successfully opened their fifth Delivery Centre in Coimbatore. Following that achievement came the joint winner award of 'Best IT Enablement' in BPO at the BPO Excellence Awards 2011 - 12.
In 2013, they were selected as 'Company of the Month' for January 2013 by Silicon India, a leading magazine. Recently they were again recognized as the 'Best Health Insurance BPO Provider' at the BPO Excellence Awards 2012 - 13 - IIFL.

Caliber Point is providing integrated HRO (IT and BPM) services through strategic partnerships, robust service delivery and flexible pricing models. The company’s solutions are served standalone, bundled IT+BPM, or ala-carte. Technology solutions can be traditional enterprise implementations/perpetual licenses/powered by Oracle single tenancy or multi-tenancy solutions on leased BPM software licenses.
'Human Resource Outsourcing Services': These include Workforce & Data Administration, Payroll, Recruitment, Benefits Administration, Learning and Development, Performance Management, Mobility, Compensation Management, HR Helpdesk, HR Advisory, Analytics and so on.
It provides healthcare solutions servicing Medical and Pharma Companies, Health Service Providers, TPAs and HMOs in the US among others.
'Healthcare Services': Caliber Point provides end-to-end solutions in the Payer, Provider and Pharma space including claims processing, cost containment, claims fraud analysis, billing & payments, provider database verification and maintenance, Patient Registration, Eligibility verification, Coding, Payer Accounts Receivable Follow-up, EMR Implementation, Pharma Sales Analytics & Data Management, Clinical Trial Administrative, Pharmacy Benefits Administration Services and Medical Records Management
It offers both industry specific Banking & Financial Services (BFS) as well as cross-industry horizontal of Finance & Accounting (F&A).
'Banking & Financial Services': These include Asset Management & Capital Market services, Corporate & Retail Banking services, Research & Analytics services and Treasury Risk Management Services.
'Finance & Accounting Services': Including Procure-to-pay (P2P), Quote to Order (Q2R), Order to cash (O2C) and Record to report (R2R).
