Lyriciss

Lyriciss (born Robert Bailey on February 1, 1988), is an American hip-hop artist from the Washington, DC metro area. Notarized from his single, "They Fakin" , which mixed a hybrid of go-go and hip-hop (a style first made popular from DC area rapper Wale), and the success of his mixtapes, Vol.1: Look At My Life and The Hope.
Early career
Lyriciss officially started his music career at the age of 16, working with fellow local artist, H-Tips and FCG Ent. After dropping one official mixtape and branching off, he worked with H/H Global Ent. in 2007, recording for a planned, yet shelved, compilation album.
In 2008, Lyriciss branched off again, working closely with artists NandoMcFlyy., Marky (who is signed to Studio43/SRC Records/Universal Records), and AB The Producer (signed to Studio43), to form the collaborative group, The 43ntourage.
In May 2008, Lyriciss announced his departure from the group. Lyriciss also did two shows in New York City in early 2008 - the GrungeCake Crisis Magazine Launch Party the DeadStock Sneaker Convention.
In April 2008, Lyriciss announced his affiliation with Virginia-based record label, Prolific Entertainment, run by CEOs David "City Champ" Rosario & Whitney "DJ AbstraKt" Lea. In August, Lyriciss also departed
Lyriciss has also managed to obtain clothing sponsorship from two streetwear clothing brands, Aplomb Clothing and Clockwise Clothing. He is also affiliated with Philly-based clothing line AnmlHse Clothing.

In March 2008, Lyriciss started a website, VoiceOfTheMetro.com, showcasing the music and fashion scene of his native town of Washington, DC. Since its launch, it has boasted over 3000 views and several interviews with top MCs/producers from the area, such as X.O., Judah, and Osinachi.
