Christopher "Rocket" Pasquin is an American entertainment entrepreneur, music executive, songwriter, and music artist. He is best known as being the original founder of Rocket Records and also a former member of the Pop/R&B music group DIVERSE. Throughout his career as a music executive, Pasquin has signed, developed, and written songs for different notable music acts. In January 2002, he founded Rocket Records, of which he is currently CEO. Career Early years Pasquin was an original member of the Pop/R&B music group DIVERSE from 1999 to 2001. The group unofficially disbanded in late-2001 when its five members decided to either focus on solo careers or pursue other interests outside of the music industry. Shortly after leaving DIVERSE, Pasquin launched a new record label & music production company named Rocket Records in January 2002. From 2002 until 2007, the label experienced only moderate success, operating more as a music development company for up-and-coming music artists to further develop both their songwriting and live performance talents. Rocket Records placed some of those artists with larger Independent record labels which already had distribution deals in place at the time with major record labels such as Sony Music, BMG Music, Warner Music Group, Universal Music Group and EMI. In 2007, Pasquin placed Rocket Records into hibernation and the label remained dormant from 2007 until its official re-launch in 2011. Re-launch of Rocket Records and recent work In mid-2011, Pasquin re-launched Rocket Records as a fully operating record label & music production/management company. Teaming up with 2-time Grammy-nominated music producer Tim Coons and entertainment attorney Daniel R. Fallon, the label was officially re-launched in September 2011. In early-2012, Pasquin brought in DJ Say, former member of the nationally known Pop/R&B music group At Last ( finalist), to Rocket Records as the label's Director of Artist Management/A&R. At Last was first discovered in Los Angeles, CA by music executive Simon Cowell, who encouraged the group to audition for "America's Got Talent" prior to the show's first season. Say ultimately left At Last in order to focus on an executive career within the music business, joining Rocket Records in 2012. In January 2012, Rocket Records, along with Coons' own Atlantic Hill Music, helped to produce some of the songs on and promote Backstreet Boys member solo album entitled "Howie D - Live From Toronto". The album was released worldwide on March 13, 2012. Pasquin and his partners then initiated a campaign to help Dorough promote the album in the months immediately following its release. In early-2013 during an interview on a popular New York City radio station, Pasquin publicly announced that Rocket Records had signed multiple teenage Pop music artists to record development deals, and also that the label would continue to help produce, write songs, and promote for well-known established artists such as Dorough, the Backstreet Boys, and others. During the same interview, Pasquin also announced that he and his partners are planning to launch a brand-new record label geared towards Rock, Americana, and Country music artists during the Summer of 2013. Personal Pasquin resides in South Florida, but is known to spend a lot of his time in both Orlando, FL and New York, NY. On April 28, 2012, he married fashion designer Noell Desiree, who is best known for her popular line of jewelry and accessories. He is a graduate of Eastern Christian High School in North Haledon, NJ, the same school that has produced notable entertainment personalities such as the Jonas Brothers, Bethany Joy Lenz, Antonique Smith, and Katie Sagona. Two of Pasquin's former DIVERSE group mates (Eric "Eggs" Veenstra and Michael Link) also attended the school at the same time that Pasquin was there.
