Luo Sheng Jiao

Luo Sheng Jiao () ( 1931 - January 2, 1952) was a noble-minded martyr of Chinese People's Liberation Army. He took part in Chinese new democratism youth regiment in July, 1950 and then joined in PLA in in April, 1951,.At last, he became a number of the Chinese people volunteer army into the Korea battle in April, 1951,Luo dedicated his body in the January 2, 1952 bravery for rescuing a Korea kid who was falling into water in the Chuan county near a stone farmland. After he sacrificed, North Korean government built a monument for him.The country’s leader King Zheng Ri set a gravestone saying"Luo sheng Jiao, the internationalism martyr of the spirit and of the Korean people, are coexistence forever".
Personal experience
Luo sheng jiao,born in 1931, XINGHUA county,Hunan province . After primary school study, he stoped schooling because of poor.In the winter of 1945, he went to a GanCheng county uncle's home in the town .Next year spring, he attended a province’s normal school.In 1947, having passed a graduation test , he entered NO.13 senior high school, and changed his name into “Luo sheng jiao” at that time.
In 1949, Luo’s home town was liberated.In November of this year, he took part in Chinese People's Liberation Army and became a student of the Xixiang military administration school.Because of the lower learning foundation,he started to feel exhausting in lessons, and hard to grasp important points.So he took the notes which recorded all of the contents of lessons.In order to catch up others, each time after the class, he always lent other's notes to check the his lacks . On February 1, 1950, Luo joined the new democratism youth regiment of China.
In April, 1951, Luo responsed to the call of party, taking part in Chinese people's volunteer army, and rush to leave for Korea with the troops. In North Korean’s time, Luo made deep friendship with there people, He usually helped landlord aunt fetching water, spliting wood.
His death
On the morning of January 2, 1952, Luo went to a river bank patrolling.Just deep winter season, the river surface had already been covered up by thick ice .A few children were playing skate, and the happy laughter were repeatedly. suddenly there spread a cry for help, someone dropped into ice hole! Running to hole and taking off the clothes,Luo jumped into the glacier.After a short while, Luo floated a river surface without a result. After a short while again, Luo dived in and out the ice water and finally he held the falling kid to the surface.When that kid using two arms to climb upwards and having been saved, suddenly, the ice around Luo breaked up. But at this time, Luo’s whole body had been already frozen, the physical strength has already consumed and almost exhausted.So he fell into the ice water ,for a long time, people anxiously wait for Luo,however, Luo unfortunately sacrificed.
The whole village peoples all arrived to river bank, deeply in sorrow mourned the volunteer army's hero warrior. The villagers buried the Luo’s body in the mountain by the side of the village.In February, 1952, Chinese people's volunteer army tracked record of Luo, gave the title of "the first stage model", "especially hero" at the same time.
