Luk-Chub is a type of Thai dessert. It’s a dessert endemic to Portugal. In Portuguese called “Massapa'es”. The Portuguese used almonds as a main ingredient but, in Thailand doesn’t almonds that have to use green beans. This dessert is easy to do and the main ingredient is green beans and coconut milk. There is now a widespread in Thailand. In the past, Luk-Chub was made for the king of Siam. It’s used for cake decoration. And it was given to the children during festivals. We can learn how to do it only from people in the palace.
How can we make Luk-Chub
Soak the green beans in water for three hours. Let the green beans to steam and then grind it. Next, you mix mashed green beans with coconut milk and sugar in a brass pan on a low flame. Stir the ingredients until they have mixed well. And then, you form it into various shapes. Traditionally the size of these miniature Luk-Chub is around 2.5 cm. Stick a toothpick into the soft Luk-Chub and paint by color. You bring the bean that you paint be placed in gelatin.You wait until it dries and place it in jelly two and three times. When it dries, remove the toothpick and cut off the excess gelatin.The look of it looks like kinds of fruit and vegetables, for example, oranges, mangoes, bananas, and papayas.
You can keep your Luk-Chub in the refrigerator for a week. Attempt to keep Luk-Chub inside the refrigerator, coconut milk is a delicate ingredient and cannot withstand high temperatures

Future
In the future, it’s began producing molding machine for formed Luk-Chub to encourage the expansion of markets for export to foreign countries. Thailand started to bring Luk-Chub to use in festivals. At present, it is made more widely available. Luk-Chub will be more popular because of exports to other countries. It’s easy to do this dessert and easy to find ingredient. It can be monetized.
Tips
* Simmer the gelatin should use low heat or medium heat and stir frequently.
* The sugar will help make gelatin with lustrous.
* Plating gelatin should plated after paint dry otherwise the color will melt.
