Lufthansa Flight 288 is a scheduled flight from Berlin Tegel Airport (TXL), Germany to Stuttgart Airport (STR) operated by Contact Air. On September 14 2009, flight 288 executed an emergency landing at Stuttgart Airport after the main gear did not deploy. No one was seriously injured with only five people under observation for possible shock. The crew tried several times to deploy the landing gear unsuccessfully. The incident was notably caught on video by an amateur cameraman nearby the runway.
