Louise Anne Brown is an exhibiting photographer and artist from Ayrshire on the West coast of Scotland. A graduate in Fine art and Art history from Glasgow University, Brown has to date exhibited in several Ayrshire venues along with partner Alex Boyd. To date her most significant work was also in collaboration with Alex Boyd on a UK Tour with Boston duo The Dresden Dolls. This tour required large installation pieces of 2x3m works featuring scenes which referenced Weimar Germany and were reminiscent of the work of Austrian photographer Gottfried Helnwein. According to the website of Danae Press, an Ayrshire based arts publisher, she is preparing a work on the art of Japanese female artists. |
