Louis Leeman

Louis Leeman is an Italian luxury fashion house, specializing in handcrafted bespoke men’s footwear. The company, Louis Leeman Inc., was founded in 2012 by Dutch shoe designer Louis Leeman and Vogue Japan stylist Erica Pelosini. The brand encompasses made in Italy shoes for men dressed in Savile Row, lovers of its traditional bespoke tailoring and inspired by Camden town, a London alternative neighborhood.
Louis Leeman shoes are designed for men who want to preserve a timeless elegance, but with a zesty attitude.
History
Dutch shoe designer Louis Leeman and Erica Pelosini met during their studies at Polimoda school in Erica’s hometown of Florence, Italy. Louis found his passion for handcrafted shoemaking, working side by side with Italian masters, while Erica, who was working for Vogue Japan as a research stylist, found her calling in fashion. Combining their talents and passions they have created a line that caters to fashion conscious men around the world.
Erica Pelosini and Louis Leeman have also had the opportunity to collaborate with high fashion brands such as Roberto Cavalli and since 2013 are working with Cesare Casadei to develop his men’s collections.
Stores
The Brand reached a milestone in June 2015 with the opening of its first flagship store in New York on 793 Madison Avenue, New York, NY 10065, United States. The flagship store was designed by David Collins Studio and is reminiscent of a vintage Parisian atelier but with updated modern twists, complementing the style of the Louis Leeman brand.
