Losing Focus is four-piece Alternative rock band from Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. Formed in 1998, when the members were still in junior high, Losing Focus has enjoyed local success with mainstream radio rotation and countless appearances throughout Canada. In 2007, Losing Focus recorded their debut CD, A Portrait for the Ransom, with producer Brandon Friesen and the CD was released on C4 Records. The group was also invited to the prestigious Musexpo showcase festival in Los Angeles. Guitarist Bobby Mackay was also a member of Canadian rock band . In January of 2009, the band posted one new demo song on their MySpace from their upcoming 2009 release.
