Daniel Duke Probert (born May 24, 1978) is the owner of Duke Jets LLC, an air charter service provider offering private jet flights and associated travel and event planning solutions. Background Probert grew up in Montana. Upon graduation from Flathead High School, he enlisted in the United States Air Force as a B-1 Bomber Crew Chief. He completed basic training at Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio, Texas, followed by Technical School at Sheppard Air Force Base in Wichita Falls, Texas before his assignment to the 28th Bomb Squadron at Dyess Air Force Base in Abilene, Texas. He earned an appointment to the United States Air Force Academy Preparatory School in 1997, where he walked on the football and basketball teams for the "Huskies". Air Force Falcon Football After completing the Preparatory School, Probert earned an appointment to the United States Air Force Academy where he played defensive tackle for the Air Force Falcon football team. He was the team's leading pass rusher on the 9-3 2000 Falcon team that beat Fresno State, 37-34, in the Silicon Valley Bowl. Probert, along with his senior teammates and coaches, were invited to the White House in 2002 to receive the Commander-in-Chief's Trophy for victories over both Westpoint and the Naval Academy. He graduated from the Air Force Academy in 2002 with a Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Engineering. He deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2004 where he was responsible for building up and maintaining a strategic air base in Southern Iraq. Probert served on active duty in the Air Force as a civil and environmental engineer until he transitioned into the Air Force Reserves in 2005. While serving on active duty in the Air Force, Probert earned a Master of Science degree in Environmental Management. After fulfilling his active duty service commitment, Probert began working for RaynAir, Inc. - a private jet charter brokerage based in New York. Air Force Prep Football Probert serves as an assistant college football coach at the United States Air Force Preparatory School. "The Academy Preparatory School, better known as the 'Prep School,' is designed to academically, physically and militarily prepare qualified young men and women to enter the Academy.". The "Huskies" compete at the NJCAA level in the nationally respected Jayhawk Conference comprised of junior colleges throughout the state of Kansas. Schriever Air Force Base Probert serves as an Air Force Reservist in the 50th Civil Engineer Squadron within Air Force Space Command at Schriever Air Force Base in Colorado Springs, Colorado. He serves as an emergency replacement for the 50th Civil Engineer Squadron Operations Flight Commander. The Operations Flight Commander leads a workforce of over 212 personnel, executes a budget in excess of $13 million maintaining infrastructure valued over $11 billion dollars.
