Lorenzo Buenaventura

Lorenzo Buenaventura is a Spanish fitness coach currently working for Manchester City. He specializes in quickly rehabilitating injured players and has previously served as fitness coach for Bayern Munich, Barcelona, and the Argentina national football team.
Pep Guardiola brought Buenaventura as part of his staff from Barcelona, to Bayern Munich, and then to Manchester City. Buenaventura joined Guardiola in Barcelona in 2008 and was responsible for their improved conditioning that transformed the squad from Frank Rijkaard's less intensive squad into a one of Europe's fastest-paced teams.
Buenaventura's fitness conditioning programme incorporates elements from rugby and tennis.
