Carles Romagosa Vidal (born January 17, 1972) is a Spanish football coach, owner of the private training and advisory football enterprise Soccer Services, and owner of the online football company E-soccerland. He is author of the Ekkono Method, a cognitive training methodology. Early life Romagosa was born and grew up in the city of Barcelona. He was interested in football when he was young. Academics Romagosa received a Bachelor's degree in Structural & Industrial Engineering (Polytechnic University of Catalonia), a Bachelor's degree in Sports and Exercise Sciences (University of Barcelona) and a Master's degree in Research (University of Vic). He obtained a Master's degree in High Performance in Team Sports from the University of Barcelona and a UEFA Pro Licence. Coaching and teaching Romagosa began working in 1997 as a coach for the FC Barcelona Youth Academy Teams, then becoming director of the FC Barcelona School teams a year later. He continued to coach the FCB Youth Teams and direct the FCB School teams until 2001, when he became a Professor at the University of Vic in 2003 and has continued his work there through the present. From 2008 to 2010, he was the Technical Sub-Director for the Catalan Football Federation. During this period he collaborated with many clubs and players while also educating coaches around Catalonia. Romagosa worked with the Johan Cruyff Institute to develop training courses, advised the director of the Science and Sports Department of C.F. Pachuca, and gave recommendations to the Chinese Football Association on their player selection for their U15 and U17 National Teams. Since September 2015, he is currently working as the Technical Director of the youth academy of Paris Saint-Germain. However, along David Hernandez they are still focused on the development of the Ekkono Method.
