Live in Flint

Live in Flint is a double live album by rock band Clutch. It was recorded at The Machine Shop, Flint, MI on July 30 & 31 2004.
Recording and release
This was a two night effort by the band on the Blast Tyrant North American tour in 2004 and is broken up into Set 1 (first night) and Set 2 (second night). They do not play the same song twice, which is a indication they planned this to be a live release from the beginning, as some live albums are only made due to any band liking the nights performance, which just happened to be recorded via the sound desk. The venue has been used by the band on various earlier albums for recording live and studio work.
It was mastered by 'Machine' (who is from the venue), who takes the role in the main from 'Uncle Punchy' (Lawrence Packer) from this point onward with the band, and this is a live recording testament of the work done with the later over the years (which is considerable), and it marks the transition of recording, mixing, editing and mastering collaborators and personnel involved when making an album.
This live recording along with Heard It All Before and Strange Cousins at the Prince (both recorded in Melbourne, Australia) form part of the bands catalog that is only available from concerts on tour or via their website, which also makes it a rather hard to come by album.
