List of Mother 3 locations

Unlike the two previous Mother games, Mother 3 does not have any giant cities. Mainly, it is composed of various mountains, forests, and a village, but there is a somewhat carnival-looking city during Chapter 8.

Tazmily Village

is a fictional location in the video game Mother 3.

Tazmily Village is the only settlement on the island during the first six chapters. Southern Tazmily contains Flint, Lucas, Claus, and Hinawa's house. The central area consists of Thomas' Bazzar, the YADO Inn, a mansion, and a couple of houses. It is the main area of the town where people can go and talk and relax. Eastern Tazmily holds a farm, another house, and Duster and Wes' home. As well as a river. Northern Tazmily is a crossroads of sorts. Usually Leda, the town watchman who literally has his "head in the clouds," is standing there ringing the bell when a problem arises. The crossroads connects the cemetery, the forest, a tunnel, and the town itself. There is also a church located near the forest entrance where players can input their name in Japanese katakana, hiragana, or Alpha-Numerical characters.

Three years after the Pig Army takes control of the town, things significantly change. A bakery opens up and the inn becomes a hotel. 21st Century technology is also introduced. Periodically, blasts of lighting will hit people who do not own a happy box. Duster and Wes' home becomes a Retirement Home and the local farm becomes a training ground for Pig Army recruits.

The population of Tazmily is relatively small (This is excluding the other citizens of the Nowhere Islands) with a total of 42 people. There are also 2 dogs (a stray and Boney), 1 parrot, and various mice and birds.

While the religion of Tazmily's citizens is never revealed, they worship a dragon who protects the islands (Who turns out to be real unbeknownst to the people). There is even a prayer room where they can pray and worship and the player can input their name. The most religious of the people is Johnel, who worships every day.

There really is no economy up until the fourth chapter. However, there was a Bazaar and an Inn, although the people at that time had no idea what currency was. Apparently, items and rooms in the inn were free till the introduction of money. After Chapter Four, much of the money seems to come from the shops and other areas. The shops also begin to accept currency, and most items in the beginning of the game are expensive.

Tazmily also seems to have a centralised government of sorts. They have mayor called Pusher, hinting that Tazmily might be a republic. However, since all people have an equal status in Tazmily, it may be a democratic government.

"Tazmily" is the official English spelling of 『タツマイリã€?. Tatsumairi, when converted to kanji is Dragon Worship Village .

Misoshire Cemetery
is a fictional cemetery in the video game Mother 3.

Misoshire Cemetery is very idyllic during the day, where Nipolite, the gravekeeper, can be seen tilling the soil and digging graves. However, during the night, various zombies get up and fight any people passing by. The cemetery also has a very special cliff-side grave which is now Hinawa's. The cemetery leads you to the Castle Courtyard for Osohe Casle.

Misoshire is the literally translated name. Misoshire, when converted to kanji is Miso Soup Cemetery

Osohe Castle
Osohe Castle is a fictional castle in Mother 3.

Duster has to sneak into this castle to steal a very important item, which Wess doesn't describe anything about except for how it shines.
A boss is fought here called Mr. Passion. Flint must defeat Mr. Passion to find the Sublime Vase, the item that Wess was supposedly sent Flint to Osohe Castle to find. Unfortunately, it is the wrong item, leading Wess to join the party to find the correct item. This triggers a chain of events that lead Kumatora to join the party.

There are strange mushrooms in the jungle that, when consumed, cause enemies to appear like normal people on screen. Battling is the only apparent way to lift the veil of deception for each person/enemy, however since Boney never ate the mushrooms, he is able to see things as they appear, whilst the rest of the party is-for lack of a better word-drugged.
Ocean Floor Dungeon

Chupichupyoi Temple
New Pork City
New Pork City is a playable stage in Super Smash Bros. Brawl. The Ultimate Chimera is also a part of the stage, and if it sinks its teeth into you, it's a one-hit KO, paralleling its role in Mother 3.
Empire Porky Building
The Ultimate Chimera appears again, this time in the buildings' restrooms. Again, if it sinks its teeth into you, you're killed instantly.
