			| Deadly Premonition is an open world survival horror video game developed by Access Games that takes place in the fictional American town of Greenvale. Main characters
 Francis York Morgan
The protagonist of the game. An FBI special agent in his mid 30's who goes strictly by his middle name. He comes to the town of Greenvale to solve the murder of a young woman named Anna Graham, due in part to his personal interest in the murders of young women. York is an eccentric, chain-smoking criminal profiler who often delivers asides to Zach, his imaginary friend whose position in the game is congruent with the player's. Zach rarely responds to York, and when he does, his dialogue (which is unheard) is chosen by the player.
 Emily Wyatt
The 26-year-old deputy sheriff of Greenvale, and the first citizen of the town that York meets.
 George Woodman
The 42-year-old sheriff of Greenvale. George is revealed as the Raincoat Killer with his oldest buddy, Forrest Kaysen. He was the main antagonist of the game.
 Thomas MacLaine

A fattest traveling sapling salesman who regularly visits Greenvale. Kaysen is revealed as the true criminal with his partner, George Woodman/The Raincoat Killer in 50 years. He was the secondary antagonist of the game.
