Frank Morris Frank Morris was an inside-right forward who played for Bohemians in the 1940s. He played in the FAI Cup finals in 1945 and 1947 but was a losing finalist on both occasions. He captained Bohemians during the 1948/49 season. His brothers Paul and John also played in the famous red and black colours of Bohemians. Tommy Byrne Tommy Byrne (born Dublin, August 30, 1969) was an Irish soccer player during the 1990s and 2000s. Byrne was a tough tackling defender or midfielder who began his career as a trainee at Chelsea but never made the breakthrough to the first team. He played a number of friendlies and seemed likely to play in the 1st Division but a change in manager from John Hollins to Bobby Campbell saw him exit the bridge along with future Scottish international Billy Dodds. He went on to play for K Boom FC in Belgium before signing for Bohemians where he made his League of Ireland debut on the 7th of February 1992. He was part of that seasons FAI Cup winning team. He had also had spells at Shelbourne, Kilkenny and Dundalk. He represented Ireland at underage and twice at Under-21 levels (captaining the side at under 15, 16, 17 and 18) and also the Irish Army Football team.
