Paul Balmer

Paul Balmer (born 1966) was an Irish soccer player during the 1980s.
He played for Bohemians amongst others during his career in the League of Ireland. He mostly appeared for the Bohs Reserve team but did make 2 appearances during the 1987/88 season for the first team in the Leinster Senior Cup.
He also played for the Shamrock Rovers and Drogheda, making his debut for them against Everton at United Park for whom Tony Cottee was making his debut for Everton at the same match. He then moved on to play Junior International, winning 4 Oscar Traynor trophies and many other honours in junior football.
