Lisa syndrome

Lisa syndrome is a psychological response sometimes seen in online games, in which a player with a female character or name is assumed to be female and male players immediately start flirting with the assumed female.

This phenonemon was first discovered by Researcher Alexander Nordlund in the late 90s when he replaced his usual Alias to "Lisa", the reaction was startling as adolescent teenage males offered themselves and their virtual property to the Nordlund.
