Lisa Ramos

Lisa Ramos (born January 29, 1990) is an American-born model and television personality, who has appeared on America's Next Top Model (2009) and MTV2’s "Guy Code” (2011-2012).
Ramos has moved into project development and acting, co-producing her own comedic web series with Univision's first bilingual network The Flama, called “Secret Life Of Babes” The series features her as the primary host and actress as she narrates the episodes that are aimed at Latino millennials.
Early life and education
Ramos grew up in Queens, New York and attended Bayside High School. After graduating, she attended Stony Brook University in Long Island and studied health sciences. She is the middle daughter of three and her family hails from the Dominican Republic.
MTV's Guy Code
In early 2010, MTV producers approached Ramos to join the cast of a new reality-based comedy television series called “Guy Code.” The series debuted on MTV2 on November 15, 2011 and features various pop culture entertainers, top comics, athletes and specialized experts who tell the story of the special code of conduct that exists between men. Ramos and her best friend and fellow model, Melanie Iglesias, became two of the show’s breakout stars dishing on pop culture, relationships and dating.
On September 26, 2012, MTV2 announced that the show’s second season was the highest rated and most watched original series in the channel’s history. Ramos was a featured panelist on Guy Code for three seasons appearing on several episodes including:
* Dancing, Bathroom Etiquette, Exercise & One Night Stands; (debut)
* Holiday Parties, Gift-Giving & New Year's Eve; (2011)
* Friends with Benefits, Rejection, Shopping and Freshman Year (2012); and
* Flirting, Revenge, Gambling, and Owning a Pet, among others.
Social media
Building upon her momentum for Guy Code, Ramos and Iglesias co-created a web series and channel on YouTube, the popular video-sharing website. went live on March 1, 2012 and featured skits on the habits, idiosyncrasies and the lifestyles of young women. The channel showcased Ramos and Iglesias’s comedic timing and ability to poke fun at themselves. “WhatGirlsReally” has been a huge success, receiving over 20 million views.
Univision and The Flama
Working with creative directors and television producers inspired Ramos to create her own projects. In 2014, Ramos co-produced her own comedic series for Univision's first bilingual network The Flama, called the “Secret Life Of Babes.” The series features Ramos as the primary host and actress as she narrates the episodes. The program is aimed at millennial-aged Latinos who grew up in the U.S. and were exposed to both their Latino heritage and American cultural norms.
Fashion model
Lisa Ramos remains a working model signed to Elite Model Management in Miami and One Model Management in New York. Ramos also has retained Mouth Public Relations as her personal agency of record (AOR). Her portfolio includes thousands of images with leading photographers and 2015 includes editorial features in Cosmopolitan for Latinas, Xander Magazine and Galore Magazine.
Upcoming projects
Lisa Ramos will be writing a regular column in Galore on dating beginning in the fall of 2015 and is a contributor to Express Written Consent, an entertainment and pop culture talk show produced by Major League Baseball (MLB). By the end of 2015, she will be collaborating with the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (ASPCA) to aid in their protection and care of domesticated animals.
