Liquid DrumStep

Liquid DrumStep was founded by Jay Jenks
Liquid DrumStep was founded by Jay Jenks safe james.com born as James Jenks. Drumstep was born from Drum and Bass and Dubstep. However Jay was producing a liquid Drum and Bass Track and added various wobbles which formed Liquid Drum and Bass.
Drumstep is a loosely applied genre label, one that is not widely accepted or acknowledged, perhaps due to its inconclusive and inaccurate nature. The name has been created as a portmanteau of Drum and Bass and Dubstep. Tracks that could feasibly be labelled "drumstep" emerge from producers producing drum and bass, and could fit into a genre occasionally referred to as "half step" - with tempi ranging from 170 to 180 bpm, yet with the snare placement on the third beat of every bar instead of the traditional second and fourth beat.
The liquid side is new to the scene and adds and Dance/Trance fell to the music and should hopefully bring a new genre and meenig to drumstep. There are many producers that are upcoming into the Liqiud Drumstep scene and this should hopefully take this to a new level in the development of music.
