Subground is a music genre similar to Dubstep, Electro house and Hardstyle. Subground is defined as an electronic music which has a heavier sub bass. The pace is usually at 130-135 BPM (Beats Per Minute), It is a hodgepodge mix of different types of styles and influences. A good example of this new style is the track of Acti & Stana - Creeple or D.O.D - More cowbell. Origin n 2010 DJ Activator had a meeting with several hard dance DJs on a new concept. Mainly to expand the scene and for innovation. The idea was to turn the beats of the past into something refreshing. Eventually they developed a style which had influences in the Hard Dance scene, but also influences in the Electo scene. The gnere is usually between 130 and 135 BPM. The sound is more aggressive and darker, Has less melodic breaks, but more Crescendo . Less repetition in loops and energetic design, the style is less predictable. |
