Erich Yeung, better known by his stage name LIONE, is an electronic producer and DJ. He is known for his remixes of Jack Ü's "Where Are Ü Now", 's "Bodyache", and The Chainsmokers's "Closer", and his original release on Martin Garrix's STMPD RCRDS. Erich currently resides in Los Angeles.
Music career
2015-present: Breakthrough
LIONE gained attention on the internet when his remix of "Where Are Ü Now", featuring Ember Island's vocals, rapidly received over 200,000 plays on Soundcloud and 500,000 views on YouTube in a short period of time.
His second release, a remix of original, "Bodyache", reached #2 on The Hype Machine popular charts and #1 on the remix charts. The remix amassed over 125,000 plays on Soundcloud in only six days, with support from Your EDM , Nest HQ and Pilerats.
His original debut, "Leave This Place", was released through Martin Garrix's STMPD RCRDS on October 28, 2016 amassing over a million streams on Spotify.
He has performed at festivals such as EDC Las Vegas, and supported Martin Garrix, The Chainsmokers, and Illenium with live and DJ sets.
