Ling Chen is an American dermatologist who obtained her medical degree from Lanzhou University, in Lanzhou, China in 1982. Four years later she came to America for a postdoctoral position after she was graduated from the Beijing University where she got her Ph.D. She became a faculty member of the University of Texas and worked at Southwestern Medical Center from 1987-1993. In 1997 she became a resident chief in pathology at both George Washington University and Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and four years later became a specialist in dermatopathology at the Columbia University. Currently she serves on both the American Board of Dermatology and the American Board of Pathology and also works for both Dermatology Associates of Georgia and Palm Beaches.
