Limkokwing Mobile Academy

The Limkokwing Mobile Academy is a free e-Learning portal that offers self-education opportunities to anyone anywhere. The Mobile Academy was developed by Limkokwing University of Creative Technology and supported by the Limkokwing Foundation for Creative Excellence that was established with the mission to develop and enrich creative human capital.
The objectives of the mobile academy
*To help underprivileged young people who were not afforded the opportunity to pursue their tertiary education by growing their knowledge base to achieve personal excellence. It also aims to empower students to get a head start in a highly competitive global environment
*Provide professionals with chance to improve their skills for career advancement
Courses Available
The courses available are developed by the same specialists who are responsible for the courses that are currently offered at Limkokwing University of Creative Technology . These courses draw content from the teaching materials used in the University’s various campuses worldwide.
Students can register online at the Mobile Academy site. They can also register through connecting their Facebook accounts to the Academy. The courses that they can register for are:

Mobile Learning Levels
The course content of the Mobile Academy is electronically delivered to desktops and web enabled mobile devices. The content is compatible with most of the web-enabled mobile devices in the market today and poses no excessive hardware requirements. This feature was to ensure maximum reach. The bite-sized content provides users with small, simple and easily accessible tutorials and tips that educate as well as entertain.The students can enroll online at three different levels:
Foundation Level
This level contains course materials that are derived from the university's foundation programmes. At this level the emphasis is primarily on creative thinking, research and basic technical skills. The Foundation level aims to equip students with the basics to prepare them for the materials under the Intermediate level.
Intermediate Level
The Intermediate level materials are developed from the university's degree programmes. The materials are more comprehensive and generally require a proper grasp of the basics taught under the Foundation level. Under the Intermediate level delves into more technical areas with more specific and lengthier instructions that emphasize critical thinking as well as exposure to more industry-driven materials
Professional Level
The material under this level is currently not available.
Limkokwing Foundation
The Limkokwing Foundation is specifically concerned that thousands around the globe who have the ability are often restricted to contribute meaningfully in the economic development of their countries because of finances or lack of institutions from which they can acquire knowledge and relevant skills. The Foundation believes education is the most effective weapon to reducing poverty and has made the acquisition of education its principal task.
