Lillian Szpak

Lillian Szpak was elected in 2002 to Langford, British Columbia City Council and has subsequently been re-elected twice.
Szpak is a Canadian politician and Liberal Party of Canada candidate in the 2011 federal election. She is running in her home district of Esquimalt—Juan de Fuca. She will attempt to replace outgoing, six-term Liberal MP Keith Martin.
A graduate of Royal Roads University, Lillian is married to her husband Robert, a Canadian Forces Physiotherapist, and is the mother of two grown sons.
Szpak is the sister of famous Canadian author and playwright Anne-Marie MacDonald.
