Like I Got A Gun is the third single from the American rapper Colette Carr's upcoming album Skitszo. She released the single on iTunes on 26th June 2012. Carr has also released a music video for the song which she uploaded the same day on her VEVO channel on YouTube. The song received positive reviews statin, "It was unlike Carr had ever done before". Critical reception "Like I Got A Gun" was met with positive reviews from critics and audience. Starpulse.com called it "a summer-ready party track" and an "ass slapping beat". JonaTanMejia.com met the song with positive reviews saying it was "asstastic". TakingOverTheUniverse.net said "it was unlike anything Carr has ever done before. Music video Carr released the music video through her VEVO channel on 26 June 2012. The music video starts with a hand playing on the piano and then Carr on a blow-up swan in a pool. Then as Carr starts to sing it switches to Carr in a pink background wearing jean clothing rapping to the song. Then Carr dancing near a pool at a party with water pistols in jean shorts and a pink top. It has Carr firing water from her waterguns at the other dancers and her sliding down a pool slide and also her underwater. Promotion Prior to the song's release, Carr released a 16-second trailer for the music video on the CherryTree YouTube channel, hoping to attract attention.
