Music video
The music video for "Kick in the Teeth" was shot on May 26 and was released on July 1. The official teaser for the video was released on June 7. On June 14, the band started a contest on their website featuring an alternate live video for "Kick in the Teeth", which lasted for two weeks.
The video features Jacoby Shaddix walking down an alley way and being attacked by thugs who throw rocks at him and hit him from behind with baseball bats. However, Jacoby does not respond to any of the attacks and continues on walking. At the end of the video, Jacoby is bleeding badly from all the attacks. The thugs are all wearing shirts with an "I" on them, possibly represnting the "I" in Interscope Records, the bands former label, or for "Independent". The video was directed by Shane Drake.
