Leonardo Aranton, a self taught skater from Manila, Philippines managed to elevate his skating level high enough to have gotten him into the American Disney on Ice company tour. He has also coached numerous young skaters from the Philippines many of whom have won gold medals. He was choreographer for Michael Novales, perhaps the Philippines most talented international skater who is currently starring in a show on board the Freedom of the Seas out of Florida and who recently performed in Ice Odyssey in Hong Kong.
Leonardo, Nardi to his friends, teaches at the Mall of Asia in Manila, the largest ice arena in the Philippines.
