Lekshmy Rajeev

Lekshmy Rajeev (b.1971) is a poet and journalist working for Niyogi Books as their consultant editor. Her poems have been published in reputed literary magazines & journals such as Indian Literature, Deccan Herald Sunday Magazine , Poetry Chain, The Little Magazine, and websites like http://www.shakespeares-sonnets.com.Her translations of Malayalam poetry have appeared in Samyukta,( Journal of Women’s Studies) , The Journal of Literature & Aesthetics etc ; did a monthly column, "Pebbles" for Deccan Herald Sunday Magazine, and was Poetry Editor for the website of The British Council for South Asian Women Writers www.womenswriting.com. She has a volume of poetry out of the Kendra Sahitya Akademi(2011) entitled Dusk Diary.She also writes features in The Hindu, Indian Express, Sahara Time, Travel X, Kerala Kaumudi and Mathrubhumi.
