Latin American Leadership Academy (LALA)

The Latin American Leadership Academy (LALA) is a nonprofit international leadership development organization that empowers Latin Americans to drive change.
LALA seeks to promote sustainable economic development and strengthen democratic governance in Latin America by developing tens of thousands of entrepreneurial, principled, impact-focused leaders from all backgrounds, and building a continental community of these leaders. They will collaborate across borders, industries, socioeconomic levels, and across the public, private and social sectors to solve Latin America’s most pressing problems.
Headquartered in Medellín, Colombia, LALA seeks to transform Latin America by finding and developing young individuals through a holistic leadership development ecosystem. To achieve this, LALA has a pre-university Academy, Bootcamps, Virtual Camps, Incubations and Mentorship Programs.
Co-founded by Diego Ontaneda and David Baptista in 2017, LALA currently has an alumni ecosystem of over 1,000 young leaders from 17 countries.
