International Youth Fellowship

International Youth Fellowship (IYF) is a global, nonprofit , Christian faith-based organization founded by South-Korean pastor Ock Soo Park. It offers programs for youth related to the mission of the parent organization, Good News Mission Church. The organization has established branches across the world, including United States, Central America, South America, Africa, Asia, and Europe.
Purpose
According to the organization's official website, the purpose of the organization is to provide leadership training to youth. They offer a number of programs, including speaking contests, volunteer opportunities, and international camps that bring together youth from various countries to prepare for future international encounters and leadership roles. However they also talk about the Bible and Christianity.
History
The organization was formed in 1995 in South Korea by Christian leaders who wanted to address what they saw as the problems youth face today. The membership quickly grew and youths from all over the world participated in the programs. The group created the first chapters outside of South Korea in 2001.
