Noel Ginsburg

Noel Ginsburg (born March 27, 1959) is an American businessman and Democratic candidate for Governor of the state of Colorado in 2018, an upcoming election also known as the Colorado gubernatorial election, 2018.
Born in Denver, Colorado, Ginsburg attended The University of Denver in Denver, Colorado and later graduated from the Owner/President Management Program of the Graduate School of Business at Harvard University. In 1980, Ginsburg founded Intertech Plastics, a custom injection molding business, manufacturing products for the consumer, packaging, industrial and medical device markets. As of December 21, 2016, Ginsburg serves as chairman and CEO of Intertech Plastics.
Ginsburg was the founding chair of the Colorado Advanced Manufacturing Alliance (CAMA) which launched in 2012 to “strengthen manufacturing in our state and add new jobs.”
Community leadership
Noel Ginsburg is the founding CEO and chairman of the board for CareerWise Colorado, formerly called Business and Schools in Collaboration (BASIC). CareerWise Colorado is a “statewide nonprofit organization dedicated to building the middle-class by closing the skills gap through experiential learning.” Ginsburg also serves as the co-chair of Colorado’s Business Experiential-Learning (BEL) commission.
On February 24, 2016, the Anti-Defamation League honored Noel Ginsburg for his work “to advance educational access and opportunity for all students.” He was Colorado Technology Association's 2016 Talent Champion for “a lifetime of improving education, poverty.”
Ginsburg is the current chair of the Denver Public Schools College and Career Pathways Council and has served as President of the Denver Public Schools Foundation. He has been the Chair of the Mile High United Way and Chair of JEWISHcolorado (formerly Allied Jewish Federation). He was among the founding members and served as Past President for the Colorado I Have a Dream Foundation.
In 1994, Ginsburg and his wife Leslie have sponsored 42 inner city children through the Colorado I Have a Dream Foundation.
Ginsburg was a founding member and co-chair of The Leaders Initiative, a nonprofit professional association whose original mission was to elevate humanity by identifying, developing and deploying society's greatest leaders into government.
Political positions
Ginsburg serves as one of the nine commissioners appointed to serve on Colorado’s Economic Development Commission which was created by the Colorado General Assembly to promote economic development in Colorado.
Ginsburg serves on the executive committee of the Colorado Workforce Development Commission.
Personal life
Noel Ginsburg is married to Leslie Ginsburg, an independent design professional and community leader who has served on the boards of the Anti-Defamation League and the Colorado I Have A Dream Foundation. They have two adult children, Corey and Ali.
He is the son of Morris and Helen Ginsburg. Morris Ginsburg is an American businessman and Helen Ginsburg is the founder of AWARE, an auxiliary of the Alzheimer’s Association of Colorado and a founder of Babi Yar Memorial Park in Denver.
