Lars Walker (born 31 July 1950) is a novelist and historian of the Vikings. Of Norwegian-Danish ancestry, he currently resides in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He publishes under Baen Books and Nordskog Publishing, and writes for The American Spectator and for the Liberty21 Institute (a Madison, Wisconsin-based think-tank) as Larry Walker. His novels generally fall within the historical fantasy genre, melding historically accurate depictions of Viking culture with supernatural elements.
