Lance Grode

Lance Grode is a former American music industry executive and professor at the University of Southern California Law School. He specializes in the music industry, structuring deals for artists and mentoring new entertainers.
Career
Grode's clients included Bob Dylan, Michael Jackson, The Eagles, Neil Diamond, Jimmy Buffett and Donna Summer. He was head of worldwide business affairs for the MCA Records Group (currently the Universal Records Group). He was also executive vice president of MCA Music Publishing, and executive vice president of 20th Century Fox's music division overseeing all aspects of music for motion pictures, including major soundtracks and music licensing. As of 2010 his primary residence is in Los Angeles and he is professionally retired. His time is spent teaching at USC Law and writing a novel on his experience in the music industry.
